Somatic Therapy for Anxiety, Burnout, & Self-Esteem
For adults who feel stuck in overdrive and are ready to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and move through life with more ease.
You’re used to being the one who handles things.
You’ve learned how to keep going, think ahead, take care of what needs to be done, and show up for the people around you. You may seem capable and put together, but keeping everything moving takes more out of you than most people realize.
Even when you’re tired, slowing down can be hard. Your mind keeps going, there’s always something else to manage, and you may put a lot of pressure on yourself to get things right.
Over time, so much doing, striving, and focusing on what’s happening around you can make it harder to notice what’s happening within you. You may be used to taking care of everyone and everything else, while feeling less sure about what you feel, need, or want.
If this resonates with you, you’re in the right place.
Hi, I’m Jasmine.
You don’t have to keep moving through life on overdrive.
When you’ve spent so much time focused on what needs to be done, what others need from you, or whether you’re getting things right, slowing down and turning toward yourself can feel unfamiliar.
Therapy with me offers space to begin doing that. Together, we’ll get curious about the patterns that keep you striving, overthinking, or putting pressure on yourself, while also paying attention to what happens in your body and in the moment.
Over time, this work can help you feel more connected to yourself, trust what you feel and need, and respond to life with more choice instead of always feeling pulled to push through, manage, or get things right.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply attuned. We’ll move at a pace that gives you room to understand yourself while also creating space for something new to happen.
My Approach Centers Both Mind & Body
There are often good reasons you learned to keep going, think ahead, stay on top of things, or pay close attention to what others need from you. These patterns may have helped you feel connected, capable, or safe, even if they now leave you feeling anxious, exhausted, or disconnected from yourself.
Understanding these patterns matters, but understanding is only one part of the work. Our emotions, body sensations, and nervous system responses can also shape how we experience ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us.
That’s why my approach makes room for both mind and body. We’ll talk, reflect, and make sense of your experiences while also slowing down enough to notice what is happening within you. Together, we can get curious about your emotions, body sensations, impulses, and the ways you respond in the moment.
Over time, this can help you become more familiar with your inner experience, build trust in what you feel and need, and have more choice in how you respond to yourself and the world around you.
Specialty areas
I specialize in somatic and depth-oriented therapy for adults who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, overthinking, striving, and self-doubt, helping them slow down, reconnect with themselves, and move through life with more choice.
Somatic Therapy: Regulation + Body Awareness
Somatic therapy helps you understand how anxiety, stress, and past experiences show up in your body. Together, we’ll slow things down, notice your body’s cues, and explore patterns that may keep you feeling tense, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself so you can move through life with more awareness and choice.
Young Adult Therapy: Identity, Transitions & Clarity
Young adulthood can bring pressure to figure out who you are, what you want, and what comes next. Therapy can help you sort through outside expectations, self-doubt, relationships, and life changes while getting to know yourself more deeply and building trust in the choices that feel right for you.
Anxiety Therapy: Calm, Ease & Tools for Everyday Life
Anxiety can keep your mind moving even when you want to slow down. You may overthink, plan ahead, second-guess yourself, or feel pressure to stay on top of everything. Therapy can help you understand what keeps the anxiety going while building a steadier relationship with yourself, your body, and the uncertainty of everyday life.
Self-Esteem Therapy: Confidence, Self-Worth & Inner Trust
When you’re used to looking outside yourself for signs that you’re doing enough or getting things right, it can be hard to trust your own feelings and choices. Therapy can help you understand patterns of self-doubt, comparison, perfectionism, and people-pleasing while developing a more grounded and compassionate relationship with yourself.
Together, we can find a path to less stress and more ease.
How Our Work Together Unfolds
01
We Connect & Get Curious
Our first conversations are about getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. Together, we’ll explore what feels difficult, what you’re hoping for, and the patterns you’ve started to notice, while making sure our work together feels like the right fit.
02
We Slow Down & Explore
As our work deepens, we’ll get curious about the patterns that keep you striving, overthinking, or looking outside yourself for what to do next. We’ll slow things down enough to notice your thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and needs, while making space for new ways of understanding and responding to yourself.
03
More Choice Becomes Possible
Over time, you may begin to notice when familiar patterns show up without automatically getting pulled into them. As you become more connected to yourself, there can be more room to trust what you feel and need, make choices that feel true to you, and move through life with greater ease and flexibility.
